Besides a regular online Newsletter for members and non-members, the MSA publishes the A-ranked scholarly journal, Musicology Australia. Recent articles include studies of musicology, ethnomusicology and popular music.
Musicology Australia is the scholarly journal of the Musicological Society of Australia. Since its inception in 1963, the journal has published articles on all aspects of music research, including ethnomusicology and musicology, which marks it out from most other music journals.
The MSA Newsletter is published twice per year in March and September and is delivered electronically (via email, website) to members and non-members. This electronic edition replaces the former paper newsletter and acts as a supplement to the website.
Please email items for inclusion in future editions to the newsletter editor, Dr John Phillips at email@example.com.
